Abstract
Općina Orle prema prirodno zemljopisnim značajkama nalazi se u prisavskoj nizini. Prostor same općine je s je s jedne strane dolina rijeke Save, a s druge strane je rijeka Odra. To je aluvijalno područje s povišenim pleistocenskim nanosima i obradivim površinama naslonjenim na desnu obalu Save koja se spušta u nizinski dio rijeke Odre u čijoj se podlozi nalaze masne naslage gline. Sporo otjecanje vode uvjetuju blagi nagibi pa su najniži dijelovi močvarno i šumovito područje s učestalim naslagama u hladno doba godine. Kanalom Sava – Odra preljevne vode rijeke Save odvode se u prirodni retencijski prostor Odranskoga polja te taj kanal ima izuzetnu ulogu u obrani orlanskog kraja od poplave. U rujnu 2010. općinu i okolna mjesta je zadesila poplava. Kako se općina Orle i sva okolna mjesta nalaze u samu rijeku Savu nasipi koji su izgrađeni nisu održavani godinama i to je još jedan od razloga zašto je došlo do prodora same vode.
Abstract (english)
The municipality of Orle according to natural geographical features is located in the lowlands. The area of the district on the one side of the valley of the river Sava, and on the other side of the river to Odra. It is an alluvial area with high pleistocene dunes and the collective surface resting on the right bank of the Sava, which runs down to the lowland part of the river Odra, in which they are the main fat deposits of clay. Slow water leak condition to slight slopes and are the lowest part of the marshy and wooded area of the layer in the cold season. Channel Sava – Odra overflowing water of the river Sava flows in natural retention place Odranskoga field and this channel has an exceptional role in the defense orlanskog the end of the flood. In September of 2010. the district and its surrounding places, collapsed flooding. As the Orle municipality and all surrounding villages are located in the Sava river dams, which were built has not been maintained for many years and this is one of the reasons why it happened the flow of the water.
