Abstract
Uzimajući u obzir suvremeni način života, važnost zdravlja i kvalitetu hrane koju konzumiramo, možemo reći da hrana općenito, a s time i meso kao dio prehrane ima značajnu ulogu. Kada govorimo konkretno o mesu peradi dobiveno iz ekološke proizvodnje, možemo reći da ima važnu ulogu sa ekonomskog aspekta u smislu poticanja lokalne proizvodnje i lokalnih malih i srednje velikih gospodarstava koji bi njegovali takav način proizvodnje. Uzmemo li u obzir razliku u kvaliteti same namirnice, sigurno je da je meso peradi dobiveno ekološkim načinom proizvodnje pogoduje našem zdravlju, ukupnom razvoju i smanjenju rizika od nastanka raznih bolesti. Iako proizvodnja takvog meso iziskuje više vremena i ulaganja, a daje manje prinose, možemo reći da dobrobiti (mikroekonomske, kvalitativne i zdravstvene) takve namirnice nadilaze svoje nedostatke i trebale bi imati prednost u svakom kućanstvu.
Abstract (english)
Considering the modern way of life, the importance of health and the quality of food that we consume, we can say that food in general and with that meat especially has a great importance. Concretely, talking about the organic poultry meat, we can say that it has a big importance from the economy standpoint, especially when we talk about the small and midsized, local businesses. The health benefits, our physical development, the health risks, are much better in regards to the superior quality of the organic poultry meat. Although the production of organic poultry meat is more time consuming, less cost effective and gives less product, we can say that the benefits (microeconomic, health and product quality benefits) exceed their deficiencies and that they should have the preference in every household.
