Abstract
Od početaka ljudske interakcije čovječanstvo se susreće se s pojmom prijevara. Lijepo je polaziti od pretpostavke da su ljudi pošteni. Međutim, ljudska povijest i ljudska priroda govore drukčije. Kako bi se takve pojave zaustavile, ili barem smanjile, organizirane su brojne ustanove i institucije za borbu protiv njih u gotovo svakoj državi na svijetu. Takve ustanove imaju zakonom propisane ovlasti koje smiju i moraju provoditi. U Republici Hrvatskoj najpoznatija takva ustanova je USKOK koja je dio Državnog odvjetništva Republike Hrvatske. Kako bi takve institucije bile učinkovitije, koriste se raznim metodama forenzičnog računovodstva i forenzične analize prilikom provjera podataka o poslovanju nekog poduzeća i utvrđivanja postojanja nepravilnosti koje upućuju na prijevare. Nijedna industrija nije imuna na prijevarne aktivnosti, pa tako ni poljoprivreda nije iznimka za prijevare. Za razliku od ostalih grana gospodarstva, u poljoprivredi se takve radnje mogu jednostavnije provesti.
Abstract (english)
Since the very beginnings of human interaction we encounter with the notion of deception. It's good to start from the assumption that people are honest. However, human history and human nature speak differently. In order to stop such phenomena, or at least reduce them, numerous institutions have been organized to combat them in almost every country in the world. Such institutions have statutory powers that they could and must enforce. In the Republic of Croatia, the most famous such institution is USKOK, which is part of the State Attorney's Office of the Republic of Croatia. In order for such institutions to be more effective, they use various methods of forensic accounting and forensic analysis when checking the data on the business of a company and determining the existence of irregularities that indicate fraud. No industry is immune to fraudulent activities, so agriculture is no exception. Unlike other branches of the economy, in agriculture such actions can be carried out more easily.
