Abstract
Boja tla je morfološko svojstvo ovisno o kemijskom i mineraloškom sastavu, pedogenetskim procesima i vlažnosti. Osnovne boje tla su: crna, crvena i bijela. Tla nisu iste boje cijelom dubinom. Svaki horizont je drugačije nijanse pa tako i tipovi tala uz specifičnu građu posjeduju i specifične nijanse boja. U pravilu površinski slojevi tala su tamniji, jer sadrže više humusa. Anketiranja poljoprivrednika pokazala su da ih tamne boje tla asociraju na plodna i visokoproduktivna tla, a svjetlije i crvene na tla s nizom problema.
Abstract (english)
Soil color is a morphological property depending on chemical and mineral composition, pedogenetic processes and moisture. The basic colors of the soil are: black, red and white. The soils are not the same color throughout the depth. Each horizon has different shades, so soil types also have specific color shades in addition to their specific structure. As a rule, the surface layers of the soil are darker, because they contain more humus. Surveys of farmers have shown that dark soil colors associate them with fertile and highly productive soils, and lighter and red ones with soils a many problems.
