Abstract
Metabolički profil temelji se na utvrđivanju brojnih krvnih pokazatelja (hematoloških i biokemijskih) koji služe kao dopuna dijagnosticiranju i ranom otkrivanju subkliničkih i kliničkih simptoma, te uočavanju hranidbenih pogrešaka. Na temelju dostupnih novijih istraživanja može se zaključiti da na metabolički profil krvi ovaca i koza utječe niz genetskih i negenetskih čimbenika. U genetske čimbenike ubrajamo genotip (pasmina) i spol životinje, a u negenetske godišnje doba, dob životinje, zdravstveno stanje, hranidba, reprodukcijski status, metode određivanja, uvjete držanja te način rukovanja s uzorcima krvi. Utvrđeno je da se za određivanje energetskog statusa koriste koncentracije neesterificiranih masnih kiselina, beta hidroksimaslačne kiseline, glukoze, kolesterola i triglicerida u krvi, dok za određivanje opskrbljenosti ovaca i koza bjelančevinama u krvi koriste koncentracije ureje, kreatinina, ukupnih bjelančevina, albumina te aktivnost enzima kreatin kinaze u krvi. Novija istraživanja ukazuju na sve veću upotrebu metaboličkog profila, jer je vrlo važan u prevenciji bolesti i uočavanju hranidbenih pogrešaka u uzgoju ovaca i koza.
Abstract (english)
The metabolic profile is based on the determination of numerous blood indicators (hematological and biochemical) that serve as a supplement to the diagnosis and early detection of subclinical and clinical symptoms, and the detection of nutritional errors.Based on available recent research, it can be concluded that the metabolic profile of sheep and goat blood is influenced by a number of genetic and non-genetic factors. Genetic factors include genotype (breed) and sex of the animal, and non-genetic factors include the season, age of the animal, health status, nutrition, reproductive status, methods of determination, housing conditions and the manner of handling blood samples. Concentrations of non-esterified fatty acids, beta hydroxybutyric acid, glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood were found to be used to determine energy status, while concentrations of urea, creatinine, total protein, albumin and activity were used to determine the protein supply of sheep and goats. kinases in the blood. Recent research indicates an increasing use of the metabolic profile, as it is very important in disease prevention and the detection of nutritional errors in sheep and goat breeding.
