Abstract
Informacijsko komunikacijska tehnologija (ICT) ima važnu i korisnu ulogu u svakodnevnim tehnološkim procesima na govedarskim farmama. Kada se radi o velikom broju grla, potrebne su napredne tehnologije za lakšu identifikaciju životinja i bilježenje njihovih podataka. ICT tehnologije pružaju sve potrebne informacije i podatke o životinjama na farmi, odnosno daju pravovremeni uvid u zdravstveno stanje životinja, njihovu proizvodnost i dobrobit. Kontinuiranim mjerenjem i praćenjem životinjskog odgovora, te prikupljanjem podataka u stvarnom vremenu se utječe na bolje upravljanje proizvodnjom. Ukoliko se pravilno primjenjuju ove tehnologije, moguće je pravovremeno reagirati i izbjeći veće ekonomske gubitke, te pozitivno utjecati na samu dobrobit životinja. Zbog sve ubrzanijeg razvoja informacijsko komunikacijskih tehnologija, uviđa se njihova korisnost i praktičnost te je u porastu primjena ICT tehnologije u govedarskoj proizvodnji
Abstract (english)
Information and communication technology (ICT) plays an important and useful role in the daily technological processes on cattle farms. When it comes to large numbers of animals, advanced technologies are needed to make it easier to identify animals and record their data. ICT technologies provide all the necessary information and data on animals on the farm, ie provide timely insight into the health status of animals, their productivity and welfare. By continuously measuring and monitoring the animal response, and collecting data in real time, better production management is influenced. If these technologies are applied correctly, it is possible to react in a timely manner and avoid major economic losses, and positively affect animal welfare itself. Due to the accelerating development of information and communication technologies, their usefulness and practicality are being recognized, and the application of ICT technology in cattle production is on the rise.
