Abstract
Dušik pripada skupini esencijalnih makroelementata i vrlo često predstavlja osnovni ograničavajući čimbenik postizanja optimalnih prinosa u poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji. Biljke dušik mogu usvajati iz tla i to u dva oblika amnonijačni i nitratni, dok sve ostale oblike dušika kao što je molekularni dušik iz atmosfere, nisu u mogućnosti usvojiti. Fiksacija dušika su procesi u kojima se nedostupan dušik iz atmosfere veže u nove spojeve te na taj način postaje dostupan biljkama da ga iskoriste za svoje raznovrsne potrebe. Procese fiksacije dušika dijelimo na abiotsku kod koje razlikujemo prirodnu ili umjetnu, te biotsku ili biološku kod koje razlikujemo asimbiotska, asocijativnu i simbiotska fiksaciju dušika. Simbiotska fiksacija dušika koja nastaje kao rezultat simbioze između kvržičnih bakterija i leguminoza je od najvećeg značaja za ekološku poljoprivrednu proizvodnju, jer sjetvom leguminoznih usjeva poljoprivredno tlo obogaćujemo dušikom te potičemo povećanju i održanju njegove plodnosti. Abstract (english)
Nitrogen belongs to a group of essential macroelements and often is the main limiting factor in achieving optimum yield in agriculture production. Plants can uptake nitrogen from the soil in two forms ammonium and nitrate, while all other forms of nitrogen such as molecular nitrogen from the atmosphere, they are not able to uptake. Nitrogen fixation are processes in which unavailable nitrogen from the atmosphere is transformed to new compounds, and thereby becomes available to plants to use them for their diverse needs. Nitrogen fixation processes are divided into abiotic which includes natural or artificial, and biotic or biological which includes asimbiotic, associative and symbiotic nitrogen fixation. Symbiotic nitrogen fixation that occurs as a result of the symbiosis between rhizobia and legumes is of greatest importance for organic farming because sowing legume crop agricultural soil is enriched with nitrogen, and stimulates increasing and maintaining soil fertility.
