Abstract
Jedno od mnogobrojnih obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava u Republici Hrvatskoj koje se uspješno bavi ratarstvom nalazi se u Gradištu na području Vukovarsko-srijemske županije,a njime upravlja Mandica Matinac. Obiteljsko poljoprivredno gospodarstvo osnovano je 2000. godine i broji četiri člana zajedničkog kućanstva. Najzastupljenije kulturne biljke koje se uzgajaju su pšenica i soja. Tijekom 2013. godine na pšenici su se pojavile dvije bolesti, smeđa hrđa i pepelnica, dok su štetnici na pšenici bili žitni balac i žitna stjenica. Na soji su se 2013. godine pojavile dvije bolesti, plemenjača i crna pjegavost, a od štetnika su uočeni crveni pauk i lisne sovice. Bolesti i štetnici su uspješno suzbijeni na pšenici i soji i prinosi su bili vrlo dobri.
Abstract (english)
One of the many family farms in Croatia, whose successful primary activity is farming, is placed in Gradište, Vukovar-Syrmia County. Its owner/operator is Matinac Mandica. “Family Farm Matinac” was founded in 2000 and contains four household members. Wheat and soybean are the most common crop plants produced on this family farm. There were two wheat diseases in 2013 ( brown leaf rust and powdery mildew), two wheat grain pests (cereal leaf beetle and suni-bug, i.e. sunn pest), two soybean diseases (leafspot and septoria brown spot) and two soybean grain pests (two-spotted spider mite and bertha armyworm). Fortunately, diseases and pests were successfully removed, so the annual yields were very satisfying.
