Abstract
Cilj rada bio je ispitati alelopatski utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata od biljne vrste Aloe vera (L.) Burm. f. na klijavost i rast luka i bosiljka. U pokusima u Petrijevim zdjelicama procijenjen je utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata od svježih listova u koncentraciji od 2, 4, 6, 8, i 10%. Klijavost i rast klijanaca luka nije bila pod značajnim utjecajem ekstrakata, izuzev duljine korijena klijanaca koja se smanjila povećanjem koncentracije. Vodeni ekstrakti pozitivno su utjecali na duljinu izdanka, te svježu i suhu masu klijanaca bosiljka. U prosjeku, veći utjecaj ekstrakti su pokazali na bosiljak u odnosu na luk.
Abstract (english)
The aim of research was to determine allelopathic effect of water extracts of plant species Aloe vera (L.) Burm. f. on germination and growth of onion and basil. In Petri dishes, effect of extracts from fresh leaves at concentrations of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10% was estimated. Germination and growth of onion seedlings was not significantly affected by the extracts, except for seedling root length which was reduced with the increase in extract concentration. Water extracts had positive effect on shoot lenght, and fresh and dry mass of basil seedlings. On average, extracts showed greater effect on basil in relation to onion.
