Abstract
U posljednje vrijeme u Republici Hrvatskoj, ekološko ovčarstvo sve je zastupljenije. Osim autohtonih hrvatskih pasmina, dosta je zastupljena i Merinolandschaf pasmina koju karakterizira snažna konstitucija, čvrst kostur i dobra prilagodljivost, a osobito je dobar pješak što je vrlo poželjno jer ovce većinu vremena provode na pašnjacima. Istraživanje je provedeno na obiteljskom poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu Sičaja u mjestu Gašinci. Uz pomoć Lydtinovog štapa i mjerne vrpce utvrđena je tjelesna masa i uzete tjelesne mjere od 36 ovaca, i to 30, 60. i 90. dan laktacije. Podaci su statistički obrađeni i uspoređeni s ranijim istraživanjima. Odmicanjem laktacije 30. do 60. dana dolazi do značajnog pada tjelesne mase, što je bilo i očekivano. Također, značajnije se smanjuje (P<0,05) i opseg trupa kod prsa, dok nešto manje opseg trupa kod buta te sama dužina i opseg buta. U drugom razdoblju 60. do 90. dana tjelesna masa ovaca je znatno porasla (P<0,05) dok ostale vrijednosti ne bilježe značajnije promjene. Indeks tjelesne kondicije u prvom razdoblju (30.-60. dana) se smanjio, a daljnjim odmicanjem laktacije povećao se. Tjelesne mjere Merinolandschaf ovaca u predmetnom istraživanju su u okviru standarda pasmine, ali u odnosu na ranija istraživanja ovce su nešto sitnije
Abstract (english)
Recently in the Republic of Croatia, organic sheep farming is increasingly represented. Apart from the autochthonous Croatian breeds, Merinolandschaft breed is highly represented by a strong constitution, a firm skeleton and good adaptability, and it is especially good pedestrian, which is very desirable because sheep spend most of the time on the grasslands. The research was conducted on the family farm Sičaja in Gašinci. With the help of Lydtin's stick and measuring tape, body weights and measures were taken from 36 lactating sheep namely 30, 60 and 90 days of lactation. The data were statistically processed and compared with earlier research. With increasing lactation for 30 to 60 days results in a significant fall in body mass that was expected. Also, significantly decrease (P<0.05) of chest circumference was determined, while a circumference of trunk at leg as well as length and circumference of leg was decreased but without statistical significance. In the second period from 60 to 90 days the body weight increased significantly (P<0.05) while the other measures did not significantly change. Body condition index decreases for the first period (30 to 60 days) and as further lactation increases. Physical measures are within the standard of the breed, but compared to the earlier research ewes in present study are a little bit smaller.
