Abstract
Grašak (Pisum sativum L.) jednogodišnja je zeljasta kultura iz porodice Fabaceae (Leguminosae). Postoje četiri grupe sorata graška klasificirane prema dužini stabljike: niski, poluniski, srednje visoki i visoki. Grašak se koristi u istraživanjima jer se lako uzgaja, samooplodna je biljka. Jedan od glavnih razloga zbog kojeg je Mendel odabrao grašak je kratko vrijeme između dvije generacije što mu je omogućilo brz uzgoj više generacija. U istraživanju su korišteni podaci o visini biljaka jedne kombinacije križanja graška. Uspoređene su visine biljke roditelja u križanju, svih biljaka dobivenih u F1 i F2 generaciji nakon čega je izrađeni su grafovi distribucija frekvencija visine biljaka Može se zaključiti kako postoje velike razlike u visini između parentalne i potomaka F1 i F2 generacije. Distribucije visina parentalne, F1 i F2 generacije ukazuju na moguće transgresivno razdvajanje kao način djelovanja gena odgovornih za kontrolu svojstva visine graška.
Abstract (english)
Peas (Pisum sativum L.) is an annual crop from the Fabaceae family (Leguminosae). There are four cultivation groups of peas classified by the plant height: short, medium short, middle high and high. Peas are used in experiments because they are easily grown, and autogamous. One of the main reasons why Mendel chose peas is the short time between two generations which enabled fast growth of multiple generations. The data used in this experiment is based on plant height values gathered from one crossing combination. Based on plant height differences among and between F1 generation, and F2 generation plants frequency distribution graphs were made. Results showed large differences and high variability between parental and F1 and F2 progenies. Plant height distribution of parental, F1 i F2 generations might indicate possible transgressive egregation as type of gene action that are controlling the plant height in peas.
