Abstract
Prema zoološkoj sistematici šišmiši su sisavci iz reda Chiroptera. Park prirode Papuk svojom blagom kontinentalnom klimom i brojnim skloništima pruža povoljne uvjete za preživljavanje i razmnožavanje šišmiša zimi. Stoga su ovdje zabilježene brojne vrste šišmiša koje nisu primarno nastanjene na području Hrvatske. Zbog rastućeg ljudskog utjecaja na prirodu, fragmentacije šuma, zagađenja pesticidima i drugim kemikalijama koje uništavaju populaciju kukaca, ujedno glavnog izvora hrane šišmišima, sve je manji broj raspoloživih staništa. Upravo zato, Park prirode Papuk jedno je od najvažnijih mjesta za obnavljanje populacije ugroženih vrsta šišmiša. Raznolikost faune šišmiša u Parku prirode Papuk čini 13 vrsta, raspoređenih u 6 rodova.
Abstract (english)
According to zoological systematic, bats are mammals of the order Chiroptera. Nature Park „Papuk“, with a mild continental climate and numerous shelters provides favourable conditions for the survival and reproduction of bats during the winter. Thus, many of bat species are recoreded here, which are not primarily inhabitated Croatia. Due to increasing anthropogenic pressure on nature, forest fragmentation, contamination with pesticides and other chemicals that destroy insect populations, the main food source to bats, the number of available habitats is less. That is what the Nature Park „Papuk“ is among the most important places for the population recovery o fan endangered bat species. Bat faunal diversity in Nature Park „Papuk“ comprise 13 species, arranged in six genera.
