Abstract
U pokusu je istražen alelopatski utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata žute vučje stope (Aristolochia clematitis L.) na klijavost i početni rast salate. Istraživanje je provedeno u laboratoriju u Petrijevim zdjelicama s vodenim ekstraktima od suhe mase stabljike i lista žute vučje stope u koncentraciji od 5%. Vodeni ekstrakt lista značajno je smanjio klijavost sjemena salate. Duljina korijena klijanaca smanjena je u oba tretmana, posebice s ekstraktom stabljike (za više od 90%). Oba ekstrakta negativno su djelovala na duljinu izdanka i svježu masu klijanaca salate.
Abstract (english)
The allelopathic effect of birthwort (Aristolochia clematitis L.) water extracts on germination and initial growth of lettuce was investigated in the experiment. The study was carried out in a laboratory in Petri dishes with water extracts from dry stem and leaf of birthwort at a concentration of 5%. Leaf water extract significantly reduced germination of lettuce seeds. The root length of the seedlings was reduced in both treatments, especially with the stem extract (by more than 90%). Both extracts adversely affected the shoot length and fresh weight of lettuce seedlings.
