Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je bio opisati morfološke karakteristike autohtonih sorti salate. U istraživanju je korišteno sedam sorti salate koje su posađene u plastenik ili na otvoreno polje ispod bijele malč folije. Istraživanje je provedeno na pokušalištu Fakulteta agrobiotehničkih znanosti Osijek koje se nalazi u Tenji i u plasteniku na Livani. Na samom kraju istraživanja pokazalo se da su sve praćene sorte dobre za proizvodnju te ostvarivanje visokog prinosa. Također, utvrđene su značajne morfološke razlike koje su zabilježene i opisane pomoću UPOV obrasca. Treba istaknuti da su sve promatrane sorte jedinstvene te predstavljaju vrlo vrijedan genetski materijal za daljnja istraživanja i oplemenjivačke programe
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper was to describe the morphological characteristics of autochtonous lettuce varieties. Seven lettuce cultivars were used in the study which were either planted in greenhouse or in open field using white plastic soil cover. The study was carried out at the trial station of the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek which is located in Tenja and the greenhouse is located in Livana. At the end of the research, it was determined that all cultivars were good for high yield production. Also, significant morphological differences were determined according to their description using UPOV description form. Accordingly, all described cultivars are unique and represent valuable genetic material for further investigation and breeding programmes.
