Abstract
U Republici Hrvatskoj soja je relativno nova kultura i uzgaja se u kontinuitetu zadnjih 36 godina. Kultura soje potječe iz Azije, a danas je proširena u cijelom svijetu i sije se u više od 60 zemalja. Iz soje se proizvodi oko trećine svjetske proizvodnje biljnih ulja. Sojina zrna pri preradi uglavnom se koristi za ishranu stoke, ali važna je i za ishranu ljudi jer zadovoljava oko 30% potreba za bjelančevinama. SAD je najveći svjetski proizvođač soje, a u vrhu ga slijede Brazil, Argentina i Kina. U Europi je izražen trend porasta proizvodnje soje, zbog osiguravanja vlastitog izvora visokokvalitetnih bjelančevina. Prema podacima Državnog zavoda za statistiku, proteklih 20-ak godina proizvodnja soje se utrostručila. Trenutno se soja sije na oko 90 000 ha, sa prosječnim prinosom 2,5t/ha. Pozitivne proizvodne pokazatelje na tržištu soje u Hrvatskoj potvrđuje istraživanje koje navodi kako je uzgoj soje rentabilna proizvodnja.
Abstract (english)
In Republic of Croatia, soy is relatively new culture and it cultivates in continuity for the last 36 years. Soybean culture originates from Asia, and today it's extended in the entire world and it's being sown in more than 60 countries. Soybeans are producing around a third of a worldwide production of vegetable oil. Durin processing, soy grains are usually used for feeding livestock, but it's also important for feeding people, because it satisfies 30% needs for protein. USA is the biggest worldwide manufacturer of soy, and he is being followed by Brasil, Argentina and China. In Europe is an expressed trend of growth of production of soy, for insurance of it's own sources. In Europe is an expressed trend of geowth of production of soy, for insurance of it's own sources of high-quality proteins. According to data of State institute for statistics, last 20-ish years manufacture of soybeans has tripled. Currently, soybeans is being sown at around 90 000 ha, with average income of 2,5 t/ha. Positive manufacture indicator on the market of soybeans in Croatia confirms research which leads how cultivation of soybeans is profitable production.
