Abstract
Cilj rada je bio je prikazati uzgoj i proizvodnju pšenice na OPG-u Marija Matičić iz Otoka na području Vukovarsko-srijemske županije u vegetacijskoj sezoni 2018./2019. te utvrditi utjecaj tehnologije uzgoja, kao i utjecaj vremenskih prilika na prinose i kvalietu dviju sorti pšenice. Za analizu vremenskih prilika korišteni su podaci Državnog hidrometeorološkog zavoda s meteorološke postaje Gradište, a za analizu uzgoja pšenice podatci OPG-a. Uzgajane su sorte Kraljica i Graindor. Vegetacijska sezona 2018./2019. je bila specifična u pogledu vremenskih prilika i nije bila najpovoljnija za pšenicu, a glavne karakteristike su sušna jesen, blaga zima te kišan kraj proljeća i lipanj. Zbog sušnog listopada bilo je usporeno klijanje i nicanje, dok je u predžetveno i žetveno vrijeme bilo dosta kiše što je otežalo i produljilo žetvu i snizilo kvalitetu zrna. Prinosi obje sorte bili su relativno zadovoljavajući (prosječan prinos iznosio je 6,7 t/ha), a obje sorte su imale hektolitarsku masu iznad 80 kg/hl. Međutim, sadržaj proteina je bio nizak i u prosjeku je iznosio 12,6 %, te je pšenica svrstana u 2. klasu. Zbog kišnog razdoblja prije i tijekom žetve sorta Kraljica nije ostvarila svoj potencijal u pogledu sadržaja proteina.
Abstract (english)
The aim was to analyze complete farming of wheat on the Family farm Marija Matičić from Otok in the Vukovar-Sirmium County in the vegetation season 2018/2019, and to determine the impact of farming technology, as well as the effect of weather conditions on productivity and quality of two wheat varieties. The data of the Croatian Hydrometeorological Institute from the Gradište meteorological station were used for the analysis of weather conditions and the internal data of family farm for the interpretation of the production results. In season 2018/2019. Kraljica and Graindor varieties were grown. This season was very specific in aspect of weather conditions, and it was not favourably for wheat, and main characteristic was dry autumn, mild winter as well as rainy end of spring and June. Due to the dry October, germination and emergence were slowed down, while in the pre-harvest and in harvest time there was a lot of rain which made the harvest more difficult and longer and consequently reduced the quality of the grain. The yields of both varieties were relatively satisfactory (average yield was 6.7 t/ha), and both varieties had hectolitre weight above 80 kg/hl. However, the protein content was low and average content was 12.6 %, and wheat was classified in the second class. Because of rainy period before and during the harvest, the variety Kraljica did not realize its potential in view of protein content.
