Abstract
Neonikotinoidi su najraširenija skupina insekticida na tržištu. Iako učinkoviti, smatralo se kako su upravo neonikotinoidi zaslužni za pomore pčela diljem svijeta te kako imaju negativan utjecaj na okoliš i najvažnije oprašivače na svijetu – pčele. Shodno tome, Europska unija je 2018. godine zabranila vanjsku upotrebu tri insekticida iz grupe neonikotinoida - klotianidin, imidakloprid i tiametoksam. Amerika se godinama odupirala uzeti u obzir ispitati toksičnost spornih pesticida, no ipak se 2022. godine potvrdili njihov štetan utjecaj, ali ih nisu zabranili. Kao dio završnoga rada, provedena je anketa među pčelarima u Brodsko – posavskoj županiji kako bi se uvidjelo njihovo znanje i svijest o problematici neonikotinoida na pčele i okoliš. Nažalost, rezultati ankete pokazali su se lošima jer većina ispitanih pčelara ne poznaje osnovne pojmove i zakone te smatra kako ne treba dodatno obrazovanje dok se iz njihovih odgovora može zaključiti kako im je dodatna edukacija neizostavna.
Abstract (english)
Neonicotinoids are the most widespread group of insecticides on the market. Although effective, it was believed that neonicotinoids are responsible for the bee epidemic around the world and that they have a negative impact on the environment and the most important pollinators in the world - bees. Consequently, in 2018, the European Union banned the external use of three insecticides from the group of neonicotinoids - clothianidin, imidacloprid and thiamethoxam. For years, America resisted considering the toxicity of controversial pesticides, yet in 2022 their harmful influence was confirmed, but they were not banned. As part of the final work, a survey was conducted among beekeepers in the Brod-Posavina County in order to see their knowledge and awareness of the problem of neonicotinoids on bees and the environment. Unfortunately, the results of the survey turned out to be bad because most of the beekeepers interviewed do not know the basic concepts and laws and think that they do not need additional education, while from their answers it can be concluded that additional education is indispensable for them.
