Abstract
Na području Europske unije na više od 850 tisuća gospodarstava se uzgajaju ovce. U zadnje vrijeme povećan je interes za uzgojem ovaca kod poljoprivrednika. Najviše poljoprivrednika se odlučuje upravo za proizvodnju mlijeka i preradu mlijeka u sireve iako dosta uzgoja odlazi i na proizvodnju mesa, od lakih do teških janjećih trupova namijenjenih za pripremu na ražnju. Hrvatska svojim prirodnim bogatstvima pruža značajne mogućnosti u proizvodnji mlijeka i preradi sira. Obzirom na razvoj... Abstract (english)
In the European Union, more than 850 thousand farms are engaged in sheep farming. Recently, there has been an increased interest in sheep farming among farmers. Most farmers opt for milk production and milk processing into cheeses, although a significant portion of farming is also dedicated to meat production, ranging from light to heavy lamb carcasses intended for spit-roasting. Croatia, with its natural resources, offers significant opportunities in milk production and cheese... More processing.
