Abstract
Primjena mehanizacije i herbicida nije u značajnoj mjeri smanjila potrebu za ručnim uklanjanjem izdanaka lijeske. Ovaj problem pokušava se riješiti cijepljenjem lijeske na podlogu medvjeđe lijeske (Corylus colurna L.) koja se najčešće dobiva iz sjemena. Cilj završnog rada usmjeren je na ispitivanje mogućnosti germinacije sjemenki medvjeđe lijeske pod utjecajem različitih tretmana sterilizacije i tretmana GA3. Utvrđen je vrlo velik broj praznih ili bolesnih jezgri u pokusu (preko 70%). Na razini... More cijelog pokusa nakon ljuštenja utvrđeno je svega 22,9 % zdravih sjemenki koje su uključene u nastavak pokusa. Germinacija u pokusu kretala se u rasponu od 0 do 40 %. Tretman od 50 ppm/GA3 rezultirao je najvećom germinacijom od 40 %. Na kraju ciklusa germinacije utvrđeno je veliko odumiranje jezgri na svim tretmanima od prosječno 74,3 %. Visok udio bolesnih i praznih jezgri te odumiranje jezgri tijekom perioda germinacije ukazuje na izrazito tešku propagacija medvjeđe lijeske putem sjemena. Daljnja istraživanja usmjeriti ispitivanju mogućnosti sterilizacije sjemenki većim koncentracijama korištenih sterilizanata ili drugim aktivnim tvarima. U našem istraživanju koncentracija giberelinske kiseline od 50 mg/l (50 ppm) rezultirala je najvećim postotkom uspješnosti germinacije od 40 % u odnosu na sve ostale primijenjene koncentracije (0, 75 i 100 ppm). Abstract (english)
The use of mechanization and herbicides did not significantly reduced the need for manual removal of hazelnut shoots. This problem is being solved by grafting hazelnuts onto Turkish hazelnut rootstock (Corylus colurna L.), which is mostly obtained from seeds. The aim of this thesis is focused to investigate the possibility of germinating Turkish hazelnut seeds under the influence of different sterilization pretreatments and GA3 treatment. A very high number of empty or contaminated kernels... More were observed in the experiment (over 70 %). At the level of the whole experiment, after peeling, only 22.9 % of healthy kernels were found, which were included in the experiment. Germination in the experiment ranged from 0 % to 40 %. The treatment of 50 ppm GA3 resulted with highest germination rate of 40%. At the end of the germination cycle, a high percentage of kernel mortality was observed in all treatments, averaging 74.3 %. A high proportion of diseased and empty kernels and the death of kernels during the germination period indicate an extremely difficult propagation of Corylus colurna L. from seeds. Further research should be focused on examining the possibility of sterilizing seeds with higher concentrations of used sterilant or other active substances. In our research, the concentration of 50 mg/l (50 ppm) gibberellic acid resulted in the highest percentage of germination success of 40% compared to all other concentrations applied (0, 75 and 100 ppm).
