Abstract
U ovom literaturnom diplomskom radu cilj je opisati influencu konja, navesti simptome i postupke dijagnostike i liječenja, također su opisani najistaknutiji slučajevi izbijanja influence konja kako u Hrvatskoj tako i u svijetu. Opisane su vrste korištenja različitih vrsta cjepiva i usporedba korištenja različitih metoda dijagnostike virusa influence kod konja. Kod influence konja je jako bitno brzo reagirati na prve simptome koji su povezani s infekcijom. Bitno je što prije odvojiti konje koji su bili u kontaktu s zaraženim zbog jako velike brzine širenja. Osim toga veliku ulogu ima i sama prevencija bolesti tako i edukacija vlasnika konja.
Abstract (english)
In this literature thesis, the goal is to describe equine influenza, to list the symptoms, diagnostic and treatment procedures, the most prominent cases of equine influenza outbreaks both in Croatia and in the world are also described. The types of use of different types of vaccines and a comparison of the use of different methods of diagnosis of influenza virus in horses are described. With equine influenza, it is very important to react quickly to the first symptoms associated with the infection. It is important to separate the horses that were in contact with the infected as soon as possible because of the very high speed of spread. In addition, disease prevention itself plays a big role as well as the education of horse owners.
