Abstract
i teksture tla te pomaže u održavanje pH-vrijednosti tla. U kiselim tlima i vlažnim klimama dolazi do njegovog ispiranja te deficita kalcija u tlu, nasuprot kad ga je previše u tlu blokira skoro sve ostale elemente. Kalcij je jedan od makroelemenata u ishrani bilja, ima važnu ulogu za rast i razvoj biljke te tako sudjeluje u staničnim i enzimatskim aktivnostima. Deficitom kalcija u biljci dolazi do pada kvalitete, stabilnosti i visine prinosa. Kalcizacija je jedna od od agrotehnoloških mjera za popravak tala, koristi se na kiselim tlima, a osim neutraliziranja kiselosti tla poboljšava i strukturna svojstva tla. Osim kalcija za kalcizaciju mogu se koristiti i materijali s udjelom magnezija u svojoj strukturi. Mora se održavat zdravo tlo ne samo zbog proizvodnje hrane nego da se može održati ekosustav i agroekosustav.
Abstract (english)
Calcium is the most abundant alkaline earth metal in the earth's crust. Calcium plays a major role in maintaining soil structure and texture and helps maintain soil pH. In acidic soils and humid climates, it is washed away and there is a deficit of calcium in the soil, on the contrary, when there is too much of it in the soil, it blocks almost all other elements. Calcium is one of the macroelements in the nutrition of plants, it plays an important role in the growth and development of the plant and thus participates in cellular and enzymatic activities. Deficiency of calcium in the plant leads to a decrease in quality, stability and yield. Calcification is one of the agrotechnological measures for soil repair, it is used on acidic soils, and in addition to neutralizing the acidity of the soil, it also improves the structural properties of the soil. In addition to calcium, materials with magnesium in their structure can also be used for calcification. Healthy soil must be maintained not only for food production but also to maintain the ecosystem and agro-ecosystem.
