Abstract
Povijest apiterapije seže nekoliko stoljeća unatrag, 20 stoljeća u Kini, značajno manje u Istočnoj Europi, i još manje u SAD-u. Med, propolis, pčelinji otrov, matična mliječ i vosak su prepoznatljivi kao induvidualne tvari. Apiterapija je primjena pčelinjih proizvoda u prevenciji i liječenju bolesti. Vijednost i značaj apiterapije su u tome što je ona potpuno prirodan način liječenja, nema štetnih utjecaja, a kontraindikacije se javljaju vrlo rijetko. U svim narodnim medicinama na svim krajevima svijeta bilježimo brojne recepte sa više ili manje meda. Genetski modificirana moderna hrana, pušenje, stres, onečišćenost vode i neki lijekovi pogoduju nakupljanju štetnih tvari u organizmu, ali pčelinji proizvodi uspješno sprječava pojavu bolesti. Njihove su ljekovitosti odavno poznate i u narodnoj se medicini koristie za osnaživanje organizma, prije svega djece i starijih.
Abstract (english)
The history of apitherapy extends back several centuries, the 20th century in China, considerably less in Eastern Europe, and even less in the United States. Honey, propolis, bee venom, royal jelly and wax are recognizable as individualized matter. Apitherapy is the use of bee products to prevent and treat disease. I values and the importance of apitherapy are that it is a completely natural way of healing, there are no harmful effects, and contraindications occur very rarely. Honey is in people's lives has always appeared healthy and affordable food. In all folk medicine in all parts of the world recorded numerous recipes with more or less honey. Genetically modified modern food, smoking, stress, pollution of water and some medicines favors the accumulation of harmful substances in the body, but bee products successfully prevents disease. Its healing powers long been known in folk medicine used for strengthening the body, especially children and the elderly. And scientists ascribe antibacterial, antiseptic and antioxidant properties.
