Abstract
Prehrambena industrija je jedna od kljuĉnih sastavnica svakog suvremenog i modernog gospodarstva. Razlog tome je da zapošljava veliki broj ljudi, ostvaruje najviše ukupnih prihoda unutar preraĊivaĉke industrije i posjeduje velik broj proizvodnih kapaciteta.Prehrambena industrija je gospodarska grana koja se bavi preradom poljoprivrednih proizvoda. Prema podacima iz Industrijske strategije RH 2014.-2020. ( Ministarstvo gospodarstva, 2014.) o broju zaposlenih i prihodima ostvarenim u 2012. godini, prehrambena industrija najvaţnija je industrijska grana u Hrvatskoj s obzirom na to da zapošljava oko 20% industrijskih djelatnika te ostvaruje oko 20% ukupnih prihoda hrvatske preraĊivaĉke industrije. Iako se prehrambena industrija relativno dobro izvozno pozicionirala nakon svjetske gospodarske krize te biljeţi blagi rast od 2008 godine do 2012, već 2013 godine biljeţi pad izvoza što se moţe objasniti ulaskom u EU odnosno izlaskom iz CEFTA-e. Pristupanjem EU-u, Hrvatska primjenjuje zajedniĉku trgovinsku politiku Europske unije. Osnova te zajedniĉke trgovinske politike jest zajedniĉka carinska tarifa (carine) kojom se ureĊuju trgovinski odnosi Unije s trećim zemljama.
Abstract (english)
The food industry is a key component of every modern economy. The reason for this is that it employs a large number of people, achieved the highest total revenue in the manufacturing industry and has a large number of production capacity. The food industry is the industry that deals with the processing of agricultural products. According to the Industrial Strategy RH 2014th to 2020th (Ministry of Economy, 2014) on the number of employees and revenues earned in 2012, the food industry is the most important industrial sector in Croatia since it employs about 20% of industrial workers and generates about 20% of total revenues of Croatian manufacturing industry. Although the export of food industry is relatively well positioned after the world economic crisis and has slight increase since 2008 to 2012, but 2013. showed a decrease in exports, it can be explained by joining the EU and leaving the CEFTA. Joining the EU, Croatia shall apply the common trade policy of the European Union. The basis of this common commercial policy is a common customs tariff (customs), which regulates the trade relations of the Union with third countries.
