Abstract
Mikropopulacija u crijevima prasadi započinje razvoj neposredno nakon rođenja i formira se od različitih rodova Gram pozitivnih i Gram negativnih bakterija i virusa. Skupinu Gram pozitivnih bakterija većinom čine laktobacili, zatim bifidobakterije i streptokoki. Najučestalije Gram negativne bakterije u zdravoj mikroflori dolaze iz grupe bakteroida. Bolest, kao stanje patoloških promjena u organizmu, kod svinja najčešće dovodi do pojave dijareje praćene dehidracijom, gladovanjem i srčanom aritmijom dok neke bolesti prati i povraćanje. Bolesti koje najčešće pogađaju sisajuću prasad i prasad tijekom i nakon odbića su dijareja, kolibaciloza uzrokovana patogenom E. coli, enteritis uzrokovan Cl. perfringens, kokcidioza uzrokovana I. suis, prijenosni gastroenteritis uzrokovan koronavirusima i svinjski rotavirus uzrokovan rotavirusima. S ciljem zaštite zdravlja prasadi, znanost je razvila probiotike, žive mikrobne dodatke hrani koji korisno utječu na domaćina poboljšavanjem mikrobne ravnoteže tankog crijeva. Prednosti dodavanja probiotika u hranu su brojne i primjenjivi su za sve dobne skupine svinja.
Abstract (english)
Micropopulation in piglet guts begin development shortly after birth and it is formed of many Gram – positive and Gram – negative bacteria and viruses. A group of Gram – positive bacteria mainly consists lactobacilli, then bifidobacteria and streptococci. The most common Gram – negative bacteria in healthy microflora are coming from group of bacteroides. Disease, as a condition of pathological changes in pigs organism usually leads to diarrhea accompanied by dehydration, starvation and cardiac dysrhythmias while some diseases are followed by vomiting. Diseases that commonly affect suckling piglets and piglets during and after weaning are diarrhea, colibacillosis caused by pathogenic E. coli, enteritis caused by Cl.perfringens, coccidiosis caused by I. suis, transmissible gastroenteritis caused by coronavirus and porcine rotavirus caused by rotaviruses. In order to protect health of piglets, science has developed probiotics, live microbial food supplements that beneficially effect on the host by improving the microbial balance of the small intestine. The benefits of adding probiotics in food are numerous as well as possibility of application to all age groups of pigs.
