Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada bio je odrediti morfološke odlike tijela i vimena ovaca pasmine cigaja u laktaciji. U tu svrhu istraživanje je provedeno na OPG-u Balić u Dalju. U istraživanje je uključeno 15 ovaca podijeljenih u dvije skupine: 1) 2-3 laktacije i 2) 4-6 laktacije. Mjerenja su provedena tri puta u 15., 45. i 75. danu laktacije. Uzimanje pojedinačnih tjelesnih mjera i mjera vimena obavljeno je Lydtinovim štapom, mjernom vrpcom i kutomjerom. Rezultati istraživanja obrađeni su primjenom paketa SAS 9.3®. Porastom dobi nije bilo značajnijih promjena tjelesnih mjera ovaca. U odnosu na istraživanja od prije 70 godina utvrđena je veća dubina prsa i opseg prsa dok su druge mjere slične i usporedive. Vime cigaje je relativno veliko i dobro razvijeno s dugim sisama manjeg kuta u odnosu na horizontalnu os (vertikalno položeno) što ga čini povoljnim za strojnu mužnju. Porast broja laktacija značajno utječe na povećanje morfoloških odlika vimena, dok suprotno porast dužine laktacije utječe na smanjenje morfoloških odlika vimena ovaca. Općenito, starenjem ovaca kao i odmicanjem laktacije vime se mijenja. Starije ovce imaju veće vime, a odmicanjem laktacije je utvrđeno poboljšanje morfoloških odlika vimena koja određuju njegovu muznost.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study was to determine the body and udder morphological characteristic of Tsigay ewes breed in lactation. For this purpose, research was carried out on the family farm Balic in Dalj. The study included 15 ewes divided into two groups: 1) 2-3 lactations and 2) 4-6 lactations. Measurements were conducted three times in the 15th, 45th and 75th day of lactation. Using Lydtin stick, measuring tape and a protractor individual body and udder measurements were conducted. Analyses were performed using the SAS 9.3® package. There were no significant changes in ewes body measurements with age increase. Compared to the researchers conducted 70 years ago a larger chest depth and chest circumference was established, while the other measures are similar and comparable. Tsigay udder is relatively large and well developed with long tits of small angle to the horizontal axis (vertical wide) which makes it convenient for machine milking. The increase in the number of lactation significantly affects the increase of udder morphological characteristics, while the increase in the length of lactation affects the reduction of udder morphological characteristics in ewes. In general, by ewes aging and lactation growing the udder changes. Older ewes have bigger udder, and growing lactation showed improvement in the udder morphological characteristics that determine the milkability.
