Abstract
Cilj istraţivanja bio je ispitati alelopatski utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata pripremljenih od svježe i suhe nadzemne mase žute vučje stope (Aristolochia clematitis L.) na klijavost i rast ječma (Hordeum vulgare L.) i bosiljka (Ocimum basilicum L.). Ispitivan je učinak ekstrakata svježe i suhe mase u koncentracijama od 1%, 5% i 10% u Petrijevim zdjelicama, odnosno 5% i 10% u posudama s tlom. U pokusima s Petrijevim zdjelicama ekstrakti svježe mase nisu utjecali na klijavost ječma i bosiljka, ali su negativno utjecali na svježu masu, duljinu korijena i duljinu izdanka, s izuzetkom duljine izdanka bosiljka koja je bila stimulirana. Ekstrakti suhe mase značajno su inhibirali klijavost, posebice u tretmanima otopine viših koncentracija. Svježa masa, te rast ječma i bosiljka također je smanjena. Pri pokusima s posudama s tlom utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata razlikovao se, ekstrakti svježe mase djelovali su pozitivno, dok su ekstrakti suhe mase djelovali negativno na nicanje, svježu masu, duljinu korijena, duljinu izdanka obje kulture. Vodeni ekstrakti suhe mase pokazali su jači inhibitorni utjecaj i u Petrijevim zdjelicama i u posudama s tlom od vodenih ekstrakata pripremljenih od svježe mase. Vodeni su ekstrakti imali jači učinak u Petrijevim zdjelicama.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study was to evaluate the allelopathic effect of water extracts prepared from fresh and dry above-ground biomass of birthwort (Aristolochia clematitis L.) on germination and growth of barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) and basil (Ocimum basilicum L.). The effect of extracts from fresh and dry biomass in concentrations of 1%, 5% and 10% in Petri dishes, and effect of extracts in 5% and 10% concentrations in pots with soil was tested. In the experiment with Petri dishes, extracts of fresh biomass had no effect on the germination of barley and basil, but showed a negative impact on the fresh biomass and root and shoot length, with the exception of basil shoot length which was stimulated. Extracts of dry biomass significantly inhibited germination, especially in the treatment with higher extract concentrations. Fresh biomass and growth of barley and basil was also reduced. In experiments with pots with soil, effect of water extracts differed. Extracts of fresh biomass acted positively, but extracts of the dry biomass acted negatively on the germination, fresh biomass, root and shoot length of both tested species. Extracts of dry biomass showed a stronger inhibitory effect in Petri dishes and in pots with soil from the water extracts prepared from fresh biomass. Water extracts had a stronger effect in Petri dishes.
