Abstract
Posavski konj je hladnokrvni tip konja, premda njegov temperament i neke eksterijerne osobine upućuju na toplokrvno porijeklo. Uzgojno područje posavskog konja danas primarno obuhvaća prostor Sisačko-moslavačke i Zagrebačke županije, premda se uzgaja u manjem broju i u drugim dijelovima Hrvatske. Nešto je temperamentniji, pouzdan i inteligentan, dobre ćudi i karaktera. Na glavi je uočljiv trag utjecaja genoma arapskog punokrvnjaka. Glava je suha, umjereno duga, ravnog profila, izražajnih očiju i kratkih ušiju. U populaciji posavskog konja uočljivo je postojanje dvaju glavnih pasminskih podtipova. Prvom podtipu svojstvena je jača koštana osnova, grublja i veća glava dok je drugi podtip je nešto lakši, manje glave i profinjenije koštane osnove. Uzgojni program uvažava aktualno stanje i odlike posavskog konja, nastojeći zadržati genetsku originalnost i varijabilnost. Središnji savez uzgajivača konja Hrvatski Posavac osim ključne funkcije u uzgojnom radu provodi određene aktivnosti na promociji pasmine, uključivanju u sportske, turističke i druge sadržaje.
Abstract (english)
The Croatian Posavina horse is a cold-blooded type of horse, although its temperament and some exterior traits indicate warm-blooded origin. The breeding area of the Croatian Posavina horse today primarily covers the area of Sisak-Moslavina and Zagreb County, although it is grown in small numbers in other parts of the Croatian. Something is tempered, reliable, intelligent, good nature and character. On his head was visible trace of the influence of the genome of the Arab thoroughbred. The head is dry, moderately long, straight profile, expressive eyes and ears short. In the Croatian Posavina horse is obvious existence of two major subtypes breed. The first subtype is characteristic of the stronger bone basis, rougher and bigger heads while the other subtype is somewhat lighter, smaller heads and refined bone basics. Breeding program takes into account the current situation and features of the Croatian Posavina horse, trying to maintain genetic variability and originality. Central Horse Breeders Association of Croatian Posavac except the key functions in the breeding work carried out specific activities to promote the breed, involvement in sports, tourist and other facilities
