Abstract
Pčele imaju najvažniju ulogu u oprašivanju cvjetova, jer su najbrojniji oprašivači na zemlji. Učinkovitost pri oprašivanju voćaka jedne ženke solitarne pčele Osmia rufa može se usporediti sa učinkovitošću 120 letačica medonosne pčele. Za oprašivanje 1 ha komercijalnog nasada jabuke potrebno je 500 ženki solitarne pčele ili pak 3 košnice pčela s ukupno 60.000 radilica. Cvjetanje voćaka često predstavlja vrlo kritičnu fazu u razvoju voćaka. Od toga u kojoj mjeri će se izvršiti oplodnja, zavisi i količina prinosa. Vrlo značajan je doprinos pčela za postizanje visokih i stabilnih prinosa. Od svih uzgajanih vrsta biljaka 82 su najznačajnije u svjetskoj trgovini, 77% od tih biljaka ovise o oprašivanju insektima, a čak 48% su direktno zavisne od oprašivanja pčelama. Blizu 1/3 hrane koja se danas koristi u ljudskoj ishrani, dobivamo posredno ili neposredno zahvaljujući insektima oprašivačima.
Abstract (english)
Bees play a crucial role in the pollination of flowers because they are the most numerous pollinators on earth . Efficacy in the pollination of fruit trees one female solitary bee Osmia rufa can be compared with the effectiveness of 120 honeybee . For pollination 1 ha of commercial plantations of apples should be 500 female solitary bee or three beehives with a total of 60,000 work bees. Blossoming fruit trees is often a very critical stage in the development of fruit trees . Of the extent to which will be made fertilization , depends on the amount of yield . Very important is the contribution of bees to achieve high and stable yields . Of all the cultivated plants 82 are the most important in world trade , 77 % of these plants depend on pollination by insects , and even 48 % are directly dependent on pollination bees . Close to one third of food that is now used in human nutrition , we obtain directly or indirectly due to insect pollinators.
