Abstract
C. pyri L. je najznačajniji štetnik na kruški. Brzo se razmnožava, te ima veliku sposobnost razvijanja rezistentnosti prema insekticidima u vrlo kratkom vremenu. U ovom istraživanju pratila se učinkovitost kaolinske gline (Cutisan) u suzbijanju kruškine buhe. Kao fizikalno i biološko sredstvo koje je inertno i nije abrazivno pratio se i utjecaj na prirodne neprijatelje. Kaolin djeluje repelentno na kukce i ima učinkovitost pri suzbijanju kruškine buhe pri najmanje dva tretiranja kako bi se stvorila ujednačena i dovoljno slojevita prevlaka koja sprječava kruškinu buhu da odlaže jaja i da se hrani. Pri tome djeluje i antistresno na biljku pri visokim temperaturama, te ju čini otpornijom na toplinski stres. Populacija kruškine buhe se pratila vizualnim pregledom s entomološkom lupom, dok se populacija prirodnih neprijatelja pratila nasumičnim otresanjem 25 grana na stablu kruške. Brojnost buhe je bila manja u kaolinskom tretmanu nego u kontroli, ali je zato bila i manja populacija prirodnih neprijatelja. Kaolinska glina ne ostavlja rezidue i ne djeluje toksično, ali ne djeluje selektivno na ostale organizme.
Abstract (english)
C. pyri L. is the most important pest in pear orchards.It has the capability to reproduce fast and form resistance toward insecticides in a short period of time. In this research we observed the efficiency of kaolin clay (Cutisan) in supression of pear psylla. As a physical and biological pesticide that is inert and non abrasive, we observed also effects of kaolin on the natural enemies. Kaolin clay has a repelent effect on Anthropods but it requires at least two treatments to produce a evenly thick particle film that will prevent feeding and egg laying of C. pyri. While reducing the population of pear psylla it also reduces stressfull effects of high temperatures, and increases the resistance of pear trees. Population of pear psylla was observed by a visual method using entomological lenses, while the population of beneficial insects was observed by randomly shaking 25 tree branches. The number of eggs and adult forms of C. pyri and the population of beneficial insects was less in kaolin treatment than in contol treatment. Kaolin clay doesn't leave residues and isn't toxic for pests and their natural enemies, but because the lack of selectivity it has a repelent effect on the C. pyri and her natural enemies.
