Abstract
Pšenica je jedna od najvažnijih žitarica koja se uzgaja za prehranu ljudi. Jedan od najznačajnijih uzročnika bolesti pšenice je gljivica iz roda Puccinia. Puccinia graminis, Puccinia recondita i Puccinia striiformis su predstavnici ovog roda koji su značajni u proizvodnji pšenice. Najbolja mjera zaštite protiv ove gljivične bolesti je stvaranje genetski otpornih sorata pšenice koje u svom genotipu posjeduju jedan ili više gena otpornosti. U pronalaženju tih gena uvelike pomažu gen-markeri. Oplemenjivanjem na ovu bolest, bave se oplemenjivači diljem svijeta, pri čemu je konstantna potražnja za otpornim sortama i pronalasku otpornih gena.
Abstract (english)
Wheat is one of the most important cereals grown for human consumption. One of the most important wheat disease recipients is fungus from genus Puccinia. Puccinia graminis, Puccinia recondita and Puccinia striiformis are representatives of this genus that are significant in wheat production. The best measure of protection against this fungal disease is the creation of genetically resistant wheat varieties that have one or more resistance genes in their genotype. Finding to these genes greatly helps gen-markers. Breeding for this disease is being cultivated by breeders all over the world where is present constant demand for resistant varieties and finding resistant genes
