Abstract
Cilj istraživanja bio je procijeniti troškovnu učinkovitost sideracije kao izvora dušika i usporediti je s njoj alternativnom mineralnom gnojidbom za dopunu izvorne ponude tla u proizvodnji kukuruza. Istraživanje je provedeno metodom projekcije troškova kod slijedećih scenarija proizvodnje zrna kukuruza: 1) konvencionalna proizvodnja uz mineralnu N-gnojidbu; 2) primjena siderata ozime smjese grahorice i pšenice, te ozime smjese graška i pšenice kao izvora dušika za usjev kukuruza uz korištenje kupovnog sjemena siderata; i 3) primjena siderata ozime smjese grahorice i pšenice, te ozime smjese graška i pšenice kao izvora dušika za usjev kukuruza uz korištenje farmerovog sjemena siderata. Očekivani prinos zrna kukuruza u konvencionalnoj varijanti s mineralnom N-gnojidbom određen je na temelju vlastitog radnog iskustva autora u tvrtki Anabbela d.o.o. iz Duboševice, dok su očekivani prinos korištenjem sideracije kao izvora dušika izjednačeni s prinosima iz konvencionalne agrotehnike i mineralne N-gnojidbe, u skladu s prikazanim referencama u poglavlju Pregled literature. Svi rezultati ovoga istraživanja ukazali su da je, gledano na kratki rok, mineralna N-gnojidba najekonomičnija i najučinkovitija varijanta. Sideracija ozimom smjesom grahorice s pšenicom, uz korištenje farmerovog sjemena siderata, projicirala je drugu po rangu dobit i troškovnu učinkovitost izvora dušika, a zatim je slijedila sideracija ozimom smjesom graška i pšenice, također uz korištenje farmerovog sjemena siderata. Sideracije uz korištenje kupovnog sjemena pokazale su najnižu projiciranu dobit i najnižu troškovnu učinkovitost izvora dušika. Istraživanje nije obuhvatilo dugoročne efekte sideracije na poboljšanje fizikalnih i bioloških svojstava tla, koji bi mogli u roku od nekoliko godina smanjiti troškove obrade tla te povećati prinose zrna kukuruza i prihode od prodaje zrna kukuruza u sušnim godinama Izvjesno je da bi se parametri dobiti i ekonomičnosti uzgoja kukuruza uz sideraciju, te troškovne efikasnosti sideracije, mogli izjednačiti s parametrima kod proizvodnje kukuruza uz mineralnu N-gnojidbu.
Abstract (english)
The goal of this research was to estimate the cost effectiveness of green manuring as a source of nitrogen and to compare it with the alternative mineral nitrogen as a complement of the soil's indigenous nitrogen supply for the corn production. The research was conducted by a cost projection method with the following corn grain production scenarios: 1) Conventional production with mineral N-fertilization; 2) Application of winter green manures (vetch and wheat mixture, and forage pea and wheat mixture) using a bought seeds of green manures; and 3) Application of winter green manures (vetch and wheat mixture, and forage pea and wheat mixture) using a farmer’r seeds of green manures. The expected yield of corn grain in a conventional variant with mineral N-fertilization was based on the authors own working experience in the company Anabbela d.o.o. from Duboševica, while the expected grain yield by using green manuring as a source of nitrogen was expected to be equal to the yields from conventional agronomy, in line with findings from the literature review. All of the results of this research have shown that the mineral N-fertilization is, in the short term, the most economic and cost-effective option. The second range option was green manuring with vetch-wheat mixture using the farmer’s seed, followed by the green manuring with forage pea – wheat mixture, also with using farmer’s seed. Green manuring with using a bought seeds has projected the poorest economic performance. The research didn’t include long-term effects of green manuring to the improvement of soil physical and biological characteristics, which could in a several years of application decrease the cost of production due to decrease of soil resistance to tillage, and moreover, to improve the income due to increased yield in drought years, because of expected increase of soil’s water storage capacity
