Abstract
Cilj ovoga istraživanja bio je prikazati sustav proizvodnje krmiva za hranidbu goveda na istraživanom OPG-u Mirko Štefović te da li postoji mogućnost prelaska na ekološku proizvodnju. Podaci koji se nalaze u radu dobiveni su terenskim obilaskom farme uz pratnju vlasnika i kroz razgovor sa vlasnicom, a rezultati su dobiveni metodama analize i sinteze, a zakljuĉci metodama indukcije i dedukcije. Istraživanjem je utvrđeno da je istraživani OPG ostvario relativno visoke prinose krmiva, mlijeĉnost je na zadovoljavajućoj razini, a dnevni prirasti tjelesne mase su relativno niski. Mogućim uzrokom niskog prirasta tjelesne mase može se smatrati nedostatak proteina i vitamina u ishrani. Jedna od ekonomičnijih mjera mogla bi biti uvođenje lucerne u obrok kao svježe zelene mase, jer ionako ostaje višak sijena lucerne koji se prodaje, pa zašto to ne iskoristiti kao svježi obrok. Ustanovljene su prepreke ulasku u ekološku biljnu proizvodnju (nedovoljna opremljenost i znanje) i animalnu proizvodnju (izvedba staje). Upitne su koristi od prelaska na ekološku proizvodnju zbog nepoznavanja potencijalnih kupaca ekološkog mlijeka i utovljene junadi. U nekoj daljoj budućnosti vlasnici se ne vide kao stočari zbog visokih troškova nabave hrane, veterinarskih usluga i kreditnog opterećenja.
Abstract (english)
Aim of this research was to present the established fodder production system for cattle feeding at the Family farm Mirko Štefović from Turanovac and to enquire the benefits and obstacles of transition to organic farming. The required data were collected in field research and interview, and results were obtained by analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction. The research has revealed that Farm achieves relatively high yields of forage crops, that milk yield is satisfactory, and average daily gain of fattening steers was relatively low. The possible cause could be diet insufficient with proteins and vitamins. Prospective cheap improvement could be fresh green lucerne addition to the daily diet. There were determined the obstacles for transition to organic forage crop production (insufficient equipment and knowledge) and organic cattle rearing (the design of stall). Benefits of transition to organic farming are uncertain because of unknown potential buyers of organic milk and steers. Prospects for the farm are very uncertain because of high expences for fodder, veterinary services and loans.
