Abstract
Suvremena poljoprivredna proizvodnja zahtjeva poticanje razvoja ekološki prihvatljivih metoda u suzbijanju štetočinja što ukazuje na nužnost uvođenja patogenih, korisnih grabežljivih ili parazitskih organizama u postojeće integrirane sustave zaštite biljaka. Entomopatogene nematode su se pokazale kao značajna biološka komponenta kojom se suzbija veliki broj ekonomski značajnih štetnih kukaca. Njihova djelotvornost može se povećati miješanjem s kompatibilnim kemijskim ili biološkim sredstvima za zaštitu bilja. U ovom radu ispitan je utjecaj biostimulatora Kendal Nem na dvije vrste entomopatogenih nematoda: Steinernema feltiae i Heterorhabditis bacteriophora. Kompatibilnost nije potvrđena zbog toga što ispitivani biostimulator izaziva visoku stopu mortaliteta obje vrste nematoda.
Abstract (english)
Modern agricultural production comprises constant development and application of ecologically sound methods in control of insect pests by introduction of pathogenic, beneficial predatory and/or parasitic organisms in IPM programs. Entomopathogenic nematodes are proven lethal parasites of many important agricultural pests. their efficacy ld be improved by mixing with other compatible agrochemicals and/or biocontrol agents. In this study, we tested compatibility of mixing two entomopathogenic species Steinernema feltiae and Heterorhabditis bacteriophora with biostimulator Kendal Nem. Both species of entomopathogenic nematodes are not compatible with tested biostimulators, since high mortality rate was observed already after 24h of incubation.
