Abstract
Istraživanje temeljeno na ispitivanju utjecaja vlažnosti supstrata na rast i kvalitetu kadifice (Tagetes patula L.) provedeno je u Osijeku, u stakleniku „A vrt?“ 2018. godine. Cilj istraživanja bio je proučiti utjecaj različite vlažnosti supstrata na broj cvjetova i grana po biljci, visinu biljke, masu svježeg i suhog cvijeta te svježu i suhu nadzemnu masu. Biljke su uzgojene u kockama treseta iz sjemena, a potom su presađene u posude sa supstratom. Istraživanje je postavljeno po slučajnom blok rasporedu u četiri ponavljanja. Zasađeno je deset biljaka po tretmanu navodnjavanja, tj. 120 biljaka. Tretmani navodnjavanja su bili: a1 = 70 %, a2 = 85 % i a3 = 100 % retencijskog kapaciteta (RK). Zbog niske količine oborina i natprosječno visokih srednjih dnevnih temperatura zraka tijekom travnja i svibnja obrok navodnjavanja jednako je povećan na svim tretmanima. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju da su tretmani navodnjavanja značajno utjecali na broj grana po biljci, ali nisu utvrđene statistički značajne razlike u broju cvjetova po biljci. Navodnjavanje je vrlo značajno povećalo svježu i suhu nadzemnu masu, masu suhog i svježeg cvijeta te visinu biljke.
Abstract (english)
A study based on growth of Tagetes patula L. as affected by different substrate moisture content was carried out in Osijek, in greenhouse ''A vrt?'' in 2018. The aim of study was to examine the influence of different moisture content on number of flowers and branches per plant, plant height, weight of fresh and dry flower and fresh and dried overhead mass. Plants were grown from seeds in peat cube and afterwards they were transferred to containers with substrate. The experiment was set by random block design with 4 repetitions. Ten plants were planted by irrigation treatment, which is 120 plants in total. The irrigation treatments were: a1=70%, a2=85% and a3=100%. Due to low amount of rainfall and above average high daily air temperatures during April and May, the amount of water in on irrigation event was increased in all treatments. Results suggest that irrigation treatments had a significant impact on the number of branches per plants, but no statistically significant differences in the number of flowers per plants were found. Irrigation has increased the fresh and dry overhead mass, the mass of the dry and fresh flower and the height of the plant.
