Abstract
Visina stabljike i duljina klasa su kvantitativna svojstva određena utjecajem minor gena i uvjetima vanjske okoline. Varijabilnost nasljeđivanja kvantitativnog svojstva visine stabljike uključuje i major gene odnosno gene s jakim pojedinačnim efektom koji tako određuju fenotipsku ekspresiju svojstva, a njihovo variranje je uvjetovano minor genima. Osim utjecaja gena i vanjske okoline, o varijabilnosti određenog svojstva ovisi i broj mjerenja. Cilj rada je bio odrediti razlike u visini stabljike i klasa te u odnosu duljine klasa i visine stabljike kod različitih hrvatskih kultivara pšenice. Nakon mjerenja i istraživanja podataka zaključeno je da su varijacije veće prilikom mjerenja visine stabljike nego prilikom mjerenja duljine klasa. Osim navedenog, zaključeno je i da sorte koje su imale najvišu stabljiku, nisu imale i najdulji klas.
Abstract (english)
Stem height and ear length are quantitative traits determined by the influence of minor genes and environmental conditions. Variability of inheritance of the quantitative trait of height also includes major genes, i.e. genes with strong single effects, which thus determine the phenotypic expression of the trait with their variation being conditioned by minor genes. In addition to the influence of the genes and the environment, variability of a particular trait depends on the number of measurements, that is, the higher the number of measurements of individual samples, the greater the variations. The aim of this paper was to determine the differences and variability in the ear length and stem height as well as ear:stem ratio of different Croatian wheat cultivars. After measuring and researching the data, it was concluded that the variations were larger when measuring stem height than when measuring ear length. In addition, it was concluded that the cultivar that had the highest stems did not have the longest ear.
