Abstract
Pšenica (Triticum sp.) pripada među najznačajnije ratarske usjeve zbog svoje široke primjene te je zbog visokog stupnja polimorfizma, tj. velikog broja sorata rasprostranjena u cijelom svijetu. Visina biljke pšenice kvantitativno je svojstvo pod utjecajem minor gena i okoline, te je kao takvo vrlo varijabilno. Cilj rada bio je utvrditi raspon visina sorata pšenice priznatih od 1930. do 2018. godine, a u pokus je uključeno 50 sorata. Nakon provedenih mjerenja te statističke obrade podataka zaključeno je da se visina sorata pšenice kretala u širokom rasponu s obzirom na podrijetlo i godinu priznavanja te da je došlo do postepenog pada visine tijekom šezdesetih godina. Najveći broj sorata u pokusu bio je srednje visok (80-100 cm).
Abstract (english)
Wheat (Triticum sp.) is one of the most important arable crops because of its widespread use and because of its high degree of polymorphism, i.e. a large number of cultivars it is spread worldwide. Wheat plant height is a quantitative trait influenced by minor genes and the environment, and as such is highly variable. The aim of the study was to determine the height range of wheat cultivars recognized from 1930. to 2018., 50 varieties were used in the experiment. After the measurements and the statistical data processing, it was concluded that the height of the wheat varieties varied over a wide range, because of origin and year of recognition and that there was a gradual decrease in height during the 1960s. The highest number of varieties in the experiment was medium-high (80-100 cm).
