Abstract
Cilj laboratorijskog istraživanja bio je utvrditi patogenost dvaju hrvatskih sojeva entomopatogenih nematoda Steinernema feltiae, soj ISO 16 i ISO 18 u suzbijanju ličinki kestenjastog brašnara (Tribolium castaneum). Kestenjasti brašnar je jedan od značajnih štetnika na uskladištenim proizvodima jer smanjuje njihovu vrijednost, oštećujući zrna. Pokus je postavljen u laboratorijskim uvjetima na temperaturama od 10 ℃ i 27 ℃ u koncentraciji od 50 nematoda po ličinki kestenjastog brašnara. Oba soja nematoda imala su slične rezultate. Utvrđena je zadovoljavajuća patogenost entomopatogenih nematoda S. feltiae od 95 % i 75 % mortaliteta ličinki kestenjastog brašnara na temperaturama od 10 ℃ i 27 ℃.
Abstract (english)
The aim of the experiment was to determine the pathogenicity of the two strains of entomopathogenic nematodes Steinernema feltiae ISO 16 and ISO 18, in suppression of Tribolium castaneum larvae. T. castaneum is one of the most significant pests on stored products as it reduces their value by damaging the grain. The experiment was set up under laboratory conditions at temperatures of 10 and 27℃, and 50 infective juvenile nematodes were applied per insect larvae. Mortality of T. castaneum caused by entomopathogenic nematodes of S. feltiae was 95 and 75% at temperatures 10 and 27 ℃, respectively. Both nematode strains proved similar results, and can be concluded that tested strains adjust well at 10 and 27 ℃.
