Abstract
Tema završnog rada je tehnologija proizvodnje šećerne repe na OPG-u „Čugura Frano“, odnosno industrijske biljke koja se uzgaja za proizvodnju šećera. Šećerna repa je dvogodišnja kultura, koja u prvoj godini daje korijen i list, a u drugoj stablo, svijet i plod. Šećerna repa ima određene zahtjeve prema toplini, svijetlosti, vodi, relativnoj vlažnosti zraka i tlu. Na OPG-u “Čugura Frano“ jedna od primarnih ratarskih kultura je upravo šećerna repa. U radu su prikazani načini obrade tla, kvalitetna gnojidba i prihrana, sjetva, zaštita usjeva te vađenje šećerne repe na OPG-u “Čugura Frano“. Zaštita šećerne repe važna je tehnološka mjera koja direktno utječe na visinu prinosa i kakvoću korijena. Šećerna repa vadi se u tehnološkoj zriobi u periodu od sredine rujna do sredine studenoga. Preporuka je da se rokovi vađenja šećerne repe pomaknu što je više moguće kasnije i tako produži vegetacija repe. Vađenje šećerne repe određuju stručnjaci koji provjeravaju zrelost i sadržaj šećera. Šećerna repa se može uzgajati na istoj poljoprivrednoj površini svakih 4 – 5 godina.
Abstract (english)
The topic of the final paper is the technology of sugar beet production on the family farm „Čugura Frano“, ie an industrial plant that is grown for sugar production. Sugar beet is a biennial crop, which in the first year gives root and leaf, and in the second tree, world and fruit. Sugar beet has certain requirements for heat, light, water, relative humidity and soil. At the “Čugura Frano“ family farm, one of the primary field crops is sugar beet. The paper presents the methods of tillage, quality fertilization and fertilization, sowing, crop protection and sugar beet extraction on the family farm “Čugura Frano“. Protection of sugar beet is an important technological measure that directly affects the yield and root quality. Sugar beet is extracted at technological maturity in the period from mid-September to mid-November. It is recommended that the deadlines for sugar beet extraction be moved as late as possible and thus the beet vegetation be extended. Extraction of sugar beet is determined by experts who check the maturity and sugar content. Sugar beet can be grown on the same agricultural area every 4-5 years.
