Abstract
Cilj ovog završnog rada je usporedba hranidbe konja ovisno o njihovim kategorijama i namjeni. Kategorije u koje možemo podijeliti konje su: rasplodne kobile, ždrebad, rasplodni pastusi, rekreativni konji te sportski konji. Svaka od kategorija ima različite uzdržne i dnevne potrebe koje ne treba zanemarivati. Pravilna hranidba se sastoji od kvalitetnog sijena, pristupa svježoj vodi, paši, davanja najmanje 1 kg krepkog krmiva na 100 kg tjelesne mase te dodavanja vitaminsko-mineralnih dodataka. Kako bi se izbjegli zdravstveni problemi uz pravilnu hranidbu potrebno je svakodnevno trenirati konja i omogućiti mu boravak na paši.
Abstract (english)
The goal of this final is to compare the feeding of horses depending on their categories and purpose. The categories into which we can divide horses are: breeding mares, foals, breeding stallions, recreational horses and sport horses. Each of the categories has different subsistence and daily needs that should not be neglected. Proper nutrition consists of quality hay, access to fresh water, grazing, giving at least 1 kg of strong feed per 100 kg of body weight and adding vitamin and mineral supplements. In order to avoid health problems with proper nutrition, it is necessary to train the horse every day and allow him to stay on the pasture.
