Abstract
Afrička svinjska kuga je zarazna bolest koju uzrokuje DNA virus iz porodice Asfarviridae sa tendencijom širenja na veliku udaljenost među populacijom i divljih i domaćih svinja, neizravnim ili izravnim kontaktom vrlo često sa 100%-tnim mortalitetom. Cilj rada je utvrditi znanje lovaca o ovoj bolesti te ovim putem naglašavam važnost edukacije lovaca, također i veterinarskih službenika i obiteljskih gospodarstava kod prepoznavanja, sprječavanja i pravovremenog obavještavanja nadležnih tijela o primijećenoj zarazi na području Republike Hrvatske, te ukazati na važnost programa nadziranja ASK sastavljenog od strane Ministarstva poljoprivrede. S obzirom da se zemlja u kojoj se proširi ASK isključuje iz međunarodnog prometa svinja i njihovih proizvoda, veliki je naglasak na samoj profilaksi. Bitno je sprječavanje unosa infekta u nezaraženo područje putem klasičnih sanitarnih mjera, rano otkrivanje ukoliko dođe do zaraze, dezinfekcija opreme te pravilno odlaganje lešina i otpadaka te tim putem pridonijeti strogim biološko-sigurnosnim mjerama. Istraživanje je provedeno putem anonimne ankete u tekućoj godini s lovcima iz različitih lovačkih društava na područje Baranje, uključeni su lovci različitih dobnih skupina. Rezultat ankete je nedovoljna informiranost lovaca u vidu konkretnih koraka prepoznavanja i sprječavanja zaraze među populacijom divljih i domaćih svinja.
Abstract (english)
African swine fewer is a contagious disease caused by a DNA virus from the Asfarviridae family with a tendency to spread over long distances among the population of both wild and domestic pigs over indirect or direct contact very often with 100% mortality. The aim of this paper is to detrmine the knowledge of hunters about this disease,also I emphasise the importance of educating hunters, veterinarians and familly farms in identifying, preventing and timely notifying the authorities of observed infection in the Republic of Croatia and point out the importance of ASF monitoring program composed by the Ministry of Agriculture. Given that the country where ASF is registered is excluded from the international trade there is a great emphasis on prophylaxis itself. It is important to prevent the introduction of infection into the unifected area through classic sanitary measures, early detection if infection occurs, disinfection of equipment and proper disposal of carcasses and waste,thus contributing to strict biosafety mesures. The research was conducted through an anonymus survey in the current year with hunters from different hunting clubs in Baranja county, hunters of different age groups were included. The result of the survey is that hunters lack concrete informations to identify and prevent infection among the population of wild and domestic pigs.
