Abstract
Pravilna i pravodobna primjena svih agrotehničkih mjera u uzgoju kukuruza te pravilno spremanje i konzerviranje silaže od ključnog su značaja, jer ovi procesi imaju za cilj kvalitetnu stočnu hranu dobre probavljivosti. Svi ovi procesi praćeni su tijekom dvije uzastopne godine na obiteljskom poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu. Uzgajana su dva hibrida kukuruza na ukupno 8 ha. Sadržaj suhe tvari cijele stabljike iznosio je oko 34 % uz prosječni prirod oba hibrida od 62.000 kg/ha odnosno ukupan prirod zelene mase od 496 tona. Dužina sječke je iznosila optimalnih 1-1,5 cm s visinom reza stabljike od 25-28 cm, što je omogućilo pravilno gaženje i sabijanje silažne mase. Primijenjen je inokulant 11C33, specijalizirani i standardizirani proizvod isključivo namijenjen za silažu kukuruza. Proces formiranja, sabijanja i pokrivanja silažne mase u horizontalnom silosu trajao je dva dana. Debljina sloja silažne mase nije prelazila 30 cm. Silažna masa je pokrivena folijama, a sve je učvršćeno sipkom zemljom u sloju od 10-15 cm. Tako pripremljeni horizontalni silos otvoren je za mjesec dana, a silirana masa je potrošena u razdoblju od više od godinu dana. Troškovi uzgoja kukuruza i spremanja silaže u prvoj godini iznosili su 42.762,46 kn, a u drugoj 43.152,17 kn.
Abstract (english)
Proper and timely application of all agro-technical measures in maize cultivation and proper storage and conservation of silage are of key importance, because these processes are aimed at higher quality of animal feed with good digestibility. All these processes were monitored over two consecutive years on the family farm. Two maize hybrids were grown on a total of 8 ha. The dry matter content of the whole stem was about 34 % with an average yield of both hybrids of 62,000 kg ha-1 and a total yield of green mass of 496 tons. The length of the cutter was at an optimal 1-1.5 cm with a cut height of the stem of 25-28 cm, which allowed proper trampling and compaction of silage mass. Inoculant 11C33 was applied, a specialized and standardized product exclusively intended for corn silage. The process of forming, compacting and covering the silage mass in the horizontal silo took two days. The thickness of the silage layer did not exceed 30 cm. The silage mass is covered with foils, and everything is fixed with loose earth in a layer of 10-15 cm. The horizontal silo thus prepared was opened in a month, and the ensiled mass was consumed over a period of more than a year. The costs of growing corn and storing silage in the first year amounted to HRK 42,762.46, and in the second to HRK 43,152.17
