Abstract
Rajčica zauzima značajno mjesto u ishrani ljudi. Proizvodi se u plastenicima, staklenicima i na otvorenom za preradu.Jednogodišnja je zeljasta biljka, a u povoljnim uvjetima može biti i dvogodišnja. U svijetu je vrlo rasprostranjena namirnica zbog višestrukog načina uporabe. Najčešće je korištena svježa, sama ili u kombinaciji s drugim povrćem. U Hrvatskoj se rajčica proizvodi na oko 6.500 ha. Godišnje se proizvede oko 65.000 tona uz prosječan prinos od 10 t/ha. Najveći dio proizvedene rajčice u Hrvatskoj koristi se za prehranu u svježem stanju, dok se svega jedna desetina ukupne proizvodnje prerađuje. Uz domaću proizvodnju, u Hrvatsku se godišnje uvozi oko 13.000 t rajčice, što je gotovo četvrtina domaće proizvodnje (Matotan, 2004.). Cilj ovog rada bio je prikazati kanale distribucije rajčice, njezinu proizvodnju i cijene u Republici Hrvatskoj. Opskrba rajčice na hrvatskom tržištu odvija se na dva načina: izravnim i neizravnim distribucijskim kanalima. Izbor kanala ovisi o izboru proizvođača i količinama ubrane rajčice.
Abstract (english)
Tomatoes occupy a significant place in human nutrition. It is produced in greenhouses, hothouses and outdoors for processing. It is an annual herbaceous plant, and in favorable conditions it can be a biennial. It is a very common food in the world due to its multiple uses. It is most often used fresh, alone or in combination with other vegetables. In Croatia, tomatoes are produced on about 6,500 ha. About 65,000 tons are produced annually with an average yield of 10 t / ha. Most of the tomatoes produced in Croatia are used for fresh food, while only one tenth of the total production is processed. In addition to domestic production, about 13,000 tons of tomatoes are imported to Croatia annually, which is almost a quarter of domestic production (Matotan, 2004). The aim of this paper was to present the distribution channels of tomatoes, their production and prices in the Republic of Croatia. The supply of tomatoes on the Croatian market takes place in two ways: direct and indirect distribution channels. The choice of channel depends on the choice of producer and the quantities of tomatoes harvested.
