Abstract	Mandarina je biljka koja potječe iz porodice Rutaceae, a pripada rodu Citrusa ili Agruma čije biljke potječu iz tropskih krajeva jugoistočne Azije. Hrvatska posjeduje potencijal za proizvodnju ove ukusne poljoprivredne kulture koja jedina zadovoljava potrebe domaćeg tržišta. Proizvodnja mandarina Hrvatske iznosi 52,40 tisuća tona te zauzima 31. mjesto u globalnoj proizvodnji sa udjelom od 0,2% prinosa. Hrvatska zauzima 20. mjesto u izvozu sa udjelom od 0,6% u vrijednosti od 15.59M dolara, dok u uvozu 56. mjesto sa udjelom od 0,1% u vrijednosti od 2.87M dolara. Najveći potencijal za prizvodnju nalai se u Dolini Neretve čije su Unshiu mandarine stekle zaštitu zemljopisne oznake (ZO) koja simbolizira zemljopisno podrijetlo te vrhunsku kvalitetu te time ulijeva povjerenje potrošača koji sve više posjećuju Dolinu Neretve kao agroturističku destinaciju.
Abstract (english)	Mandarin is a plant that comes from the family Rutaceae, and belongs to the genus Citrus or Citrus whose plants originate from the tropical regions of Southeast Asia. Croatia has the potential to produce this delicious agricultural crop that is the only one that meets the needs of the domestic market. Croatian mandarin production amounts to 52.40 thousand tons and ranks 31st in global production with a share of 0.2% yield. Croatia ranks 20th in exports with a share of 0.6% in the value of $ 15.59M, while in imports 56th place with a share of 0.1% in the value of $ 2.87M. The greatest potential for production is in the Valley Neretva, whose Unshiu mandarins have acquired the protection of a geographical indication (ZO), which symbolizes geographical origin and top quality, thus instilling the confidence of consumers who are increasingly visiting the Neretva Valley as an agritourism destination.
