Abstract
Invazivne vrste se lako prilagođavaju na novi okoliš i stoga ih je teško suzbiti. Mogu štetno utjecati na zdravlje ljudi, biološku raznolikost, prenositi štetnike i uzročnike bolesti. Kontrola i smanjivanje utjecaja invazivnih vrsta na zavičajne vrste izrazito je teško. Stoga je važno pravovremeno otkriti potencijalno invazivne vrste u ekosustavu. Kod takvih vrsta suzbijanje je moguće mehaničkim, kemijskim i biološkim putem. Neke od najpoznatijih invazivnih biljnih vrsta porodice Asteraceae u Republici Hrvatskoj su: Ambrosia artemisiifolia L., Conyza canadensis (L.) – Cronquist, Erigeron annuus (L.) Pers, Galinsoga parviflora Cav, Helianthus tuberosus L., Solidago canadensis L., Solidago gigantea Aiton, Xanthium strumarium L. Cilj rada je opisati morfološke karakteristike vrste, rasprostranjenost, ekologiju, te mogućnost njezine kontrole.
Abstract (english)
Invasive species easily adapt to new environments and are therefore difficult to control. They can adversely affect human health, biological diversity, transmit pests, etc. Controlling and reducing the impact of invasive species on native species is extremely difficult. Therefore, it is important to detect potentially invasive species in the ecosystem in a timely manner. With such species, control is possible by mechanical, chemical and biological means. Some of the most famous invasive plant species in Asteraceae family in the Republic of Croatia are: Ambrosia artemisiifolia L., Conyza canadensis (L.) – Cronquist, Erigeron annuus (L.) Pers, Galinsoga parviflora Cav, Helianthus tuberosus L., Solidago canadensis L., Solidago gigantean Aiton, Xanthium strumarium L. The aim of the paper is to describe the morphological characteristics of the species, distribution, ecology, and the possibility of its control.
