Abstract
Bijela djetelina je višegodišnja biljka iz porodice mahunarki (Fabaceae) koja se dijeli na tri osnovne forme: divlja djetelina, ladino djetelina i intermedijarne djeteline. Cilj završnog rada bio je ispitati utjecaj predtretmana magnetnog polja različitog vremena izloženosti sjemena na pojedina svojstva. Sjeme bijele djeteline do trenutka postavljanja pokusa čuvano je u mračnim uvjetima pri 5 °C. Sjeme je postavljeno u središte neodimijskog magneta jakosti 240 mT, te je ostavljeno ovisno o vremenu predtretmana 5, 30 i 60 min. Po isteku vremena predtretmana, 100 sjemenki u 4 ponavljanja za svaki kultivar naklijano je na prethodno navlaženi filter papir (250 ml vodovodne vode). Oba kultivara (Apolo i Merlyn) izložena su jednakim uvjetima, kao i jednakom vremenu predtretmana. Četvrti dan određena je energija klijanja sjemena i izražena je u postotcima. Deseti dan određena je klijavost sjemena, također izražena u postotcima. Po završetku testa klijavosti, pomičnom mjerkom izmjerena je dužina korijena i stabljike za oba kultivara, a zbroj dužine korijena i dužine stabljike čini ukupnu dužinu klijanaca, vrijednosti dužine izražene su u cm. Istraživanjem je utvrđeno da bi se magnetno polje moglo koristiti kao predtretman prije sjetve bijele djeteline u cilju boljeg razvitka korijenovog sustava kao i cijele biljke te poboljšanja klijavosti.
Abstract (english)
White clover is a perennial plant from the legume family (Fabaceae) that is divided into three basic forms: wild clover, ladino clover and intermediate clovers. The aim of this final work was to examine the influence of magnetic field pretreatment of different seed exposure times on individual properties. White clover seeds were stored in dark conditions at 5 °C until the time of experiment. The seed was placed in the center of a 240 mT neodymium magnet and left for 5, 30 and 60 min depending on the pretreatment time. At the end of the pretreatment time, 100 seeds in 4 replicates for each cultivar were germinated on previously moistened filter paper (250 ml tap water). Both cultivars (Apolo and Merlyn) were exposed to the same conditions, as well as the same pretreatment time. On the fourth day, the energy of seed germination was determined and expressed as a percentage. On the tenth day, seed germination was determined, also expressed in percentages. At the end of the germination test, the length of the root and stem for both cultivars was measured with a calipers, and the sum of the length of the root and the length of the stem constitutes the total length of the seedlings, the length values are expressed in cm. The research showed that a magnetic field can be used as a pre-treatment before sowing white clover in order to better develop the root system as well as the whole plant and improve germination.
