Abstract
Matica je zaslužna za gotovo sva svojstva pčelinje zajednice, kao što su snaga, mirnoća i otpornost na bolesti, ali i na prinos meda. Za postizanje svih pozitivnih karakteristika matice potrebna je selekcija i pravilan uzgoj. Za provedbu kvalitetnog uzgoja matica potreban je uzgojni cilj koji je definiran u uzgojnom programu. Provedeno istraživanje se bazira na usporedbi različitih načina uzgoja matica metodom presađivanja ličinki u zajednice za uzgoj matičnjaka, dodavanja u oplodnjake i kontroli kvalitete matice. Tijekom istraživanja provedena su tri ciklusa, u svakom ciklusu metodom presađivanja ličinki presađene ličinke u matičnjake podijeljene su u četiri skupine. Utvrđene su razlike u prosječnom prihvatu presađenih ličinki između skupina, također su utvrđene razlike u uspjehu sparivanja matica između skupina, dok razlike u kontroli kvalitete matica nisu utvrđene.
Abstract (english)
The queen bee is responsible for almost all of the traits of the honey bee colonies, such as strength, defensive behaviour, disease resistance, and the potential honey production per hive. Selection and proper maintenance is required to achieve all the positive traits of the queen bee. For the implementation of high-quality queen breeding, it is required to define a breeding goal in the breeding program. This thesis provides an overview of different methods of queen rearing by the larva-grafting method, the addition into the mating nucs and queen's quality. The research was carried out in three cycles, in each cycle larvae have been grafted into queen cells divided in four groups. Differences between average acceptance of grafted larvae in groups have been established, also have been established differences between average success of the queen mating, while different in the quality control of the queen bees are not established
