Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi vanjštinu janjadi na obiteljskom poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu Šmital. Istraživanje je provedeno na 20 janjadi križanaca pasmine cigaje i pasmine Ile de France. Od 20 janjadi, bilo je 4 para blizanaca i 12 jedinaca. Uzimanje tjelesnih masa janjadi provedeno je pomoću stočne vage, a tijelesne mjere su uzete pomoću Lidtynovog štapa i mjerne vrpce. Tjelesne mjere uzimale su se nakon janjenja, zatim u dobi od 30, 60 i 90 dana. Dobiveni rezultati statistički su obrađeni primjenom MEANS procedure statističkog programa SAS 9.4®. Janjad koja je bila iz legla jedinaca u istraživanju je ostvarili prosječni dnevni prirast od 197,87 g/dan, dok je za blizance on iznosio 138,61 g/dan. Zaključeno je kako su jedinci imali veću porodnu masu i brže napredovali, odnosno imali su veće prosječne dnevne priraste te utvrđene veće vrijednosti većine tjelesnih mjera i indeksa tjelesne razvijenosti.
Abstract (english)
The aim of the present study was to determine the exterior characteristics of lambs on the Šmital family farm. The research was conducted on 20 crossbred lambs of the Cigaja and Ile de France breed. Out of 20 lambs, there were 4 pairs of twins and 12 single lambs. Body weights of the lambs were taken by using a livestock scale while body measurements were taken using a Lydthin´s stick and measuring tape. Body measurements were taken after lambing, and at the age of 30, 60 and 90 days. The obtained results were statistically processed using the MEANS procedure of the statistical program SAS 9.4®. In the study, the lambs from the litter of singles achieved an average daily gain of 197.87 g/day, while for twins gained 138.61 g/day. It was concluded that the single lambs had a higher birth weight and progressed faster, i.e. had higher average daily weight gains and higher values of most body measurements and indices of physical development.
