Abstract
Medonosne pčele imaju vrlo važnu ulogu u oprašivanju te samim time u poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji. Oprašivanje se odnosi na prenošenje peludi s prašnika na njušku tučka. U prirodi je 80 % biljaka entomofilno. Samo neke od poljoprivrednih kultura koje trebaju pomoć oprašivača su suncokret i uljana repica. Pčele igraju ključnu ulogu u održavanju ekosustava i rasprostranjenosti samoniklog bilja. Mnogobrojne ljudske radnje dovele su opstanak pčela u pitanje. Vremenske prilike imaju veliki utjecaj na rad i produktivnost pčela. Suvremeni poljoprivrednici koriste pesticide i druge aditive, te ne poštuju razdoblje i količinu tretiranja biljaka. Ekološka poljoprivreda je jedina prihvatljiva opcija koja nema negativnih utjecaja na pčele. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati važnost medonosne pčele kao oprašivača u suvremenoj poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji te za očuvanje bioraznolikosti samoniklog bilja.
Abstract (english)
Honeybees have a very important rule in pollination and consequently in agricultural production. Pollination refers to the transfer of pollen from the anther to the stigma. In nature 80 % of plants are entomophilous. Some of the agricultural crops that require the assistance of pollinators include sunflowers and oilseed rape. Bees have the main role in maintaining ecosystems and the spread of wild plants. Numerous human activities have put the survival of bees at risk. Weather conditions have a significant impact on the work and the productivity of bees. Modern farmers use pesticides and other additives, often disregarding the timing and quantity of plant treatments. Organic farming is the only acceptable option that has no negative impact on bees. The purpose of this final paper is to highlight the importance of honeybees as pollinators in modern agricultural production and for the preservation of biodiversity in wild plants.
