Abstract
Aronija, voće porijeklom iz Sjeverne Amerike, prvi put je prenesena u Rusiju početkom 20. stoljeća i danas se najviše uzgaja u Poljskoj, Češkoj, Slovačkoj i Njemačkoj. Aronija je otporna biljka koja može izdržati niske temperature do -35 ºC i ne zahtijeva zaštitu u uzgoju zbog svoje otpornosti. Iako dobro podnosi visoke temperature, navodnjavanje je preporučljivo u sušnim uvjetima. Preferira blago kisela tla s pH između 6,0 i 7,0, a traži sunčane položaje. Postoje tri glavne vrste aronije: crna (Aronia melanocarpa), crvena (Aronia arbutifolia) i ljubičasta (Aronia prunifolia), svaka sa specifičnim karakteristikama i uvjetima rasta. Rezultati anketnog istraživanja ukazali su na to da proizvođači aronije vide veliki potencijal u proizvodnji aronije u narednih pet godina. Porterova analiza pokazala je da dobavljači aronije nemaju toliku moć, jer većinu inputa proizvođači sami nabavljaju ili proizvode. Kupci imaju nešto veću snagu jer je aronija, kao superhrana, sve više prisutna u prehrani. Rezultati PESTLE analize pokazali su da ukupni rezultat od +71 govori da čimbenici okoline koji djeluju na proizvodnju aronije, unatoč negativnom djelovanju podčimbenika političko-pravnog, ekonomskog i socijalnog čimbenika, ipak djeluju poticajno.
Abstract (english)
Aronia, a fruit native to North America, was first brought to Russia at the beginning of the 20th century. Today, it is mostly grown in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany. Aronia is a resistant plant that can withstand low temperatures down to -35 ºC and does not require protection in cultivation due to its resistance. Although it tolerates high temperatures well, irrigation is recommended in dry conditions. It prefers slightly acidic soils with a pH between 6.0 and 7.0 and looks for sunny positions. There are three main types of Aronia: black (Aronia melanocarpa), red (Aronia arbutifolia) and purple (Aronia prunifolia), each with specific characteristics and growing conditions. The survey results indicated that aronia producers see great potential in aronia production in the next five years. The Porter’s analysis showed that aronia suppliers do not have that much power, because most of the inputs are procured or produced by the producers. Customers have a little more power because chokeberry, as a superfood, is increasingly present in the diet. The results of the PESTLE analysis showed that the total score of +71 indicates that the environmental factors affecting chokeberry production, despite the negative effect of the political-legal, economic and social sub-factors, still have a stimulating effect.
