Abstract
Govedarstvo je u svijetu najvažnija grana stočarstva i poljoprivrede. Postoje nekoliko klasifikacija govedarstva, jedno od njih je podjela na intenzivno i ekstenzivno govedarstvo. Intenzivno govedarstvo predstavlja uzgoj stoke u stajama uz veća ulaganja što donosi i veće prinose. Karakterizira ga velika mehanizacija i automatizacija ali i veći broj životinja koji živi na ograničenom prostoru koji je zakonom određen. Jedan od takvih primjera je upravo farma Zeleno polje, koja se bavi uzgojem visoko mliječnih krava. Ekstenzivno govedarstvo predstavlja uzgoj stoke na pašnjacima uz vrlo mala ulaganja i nešto skromnije prinose. Glavni primjer su mala obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva. Jedno od njih je i OPG Anite Rimar koje bavi uzgojem simentalca za proizvodnju mlijeka i mesa.
Abstract (english)
Cattle production is the world's most important branch of animal husbandry and agriculture. There are several classifications of cattle, one of which is a division of the intensive and extensive cattle. Intensive cattle farming is the breeding of cattle in barns with greater investment which brings higher returns. It is characterized by large machinery and automation as well as a larger number of animals that live in limited space which is defined by law. One such example is just farm the green field, which deals with high dairy cows. Extensive cattle farming is the breeding of cattle on pastures with a very small investment and more modest returns. The main example of the small family farms. One of them is the OPG Anita Rimar that grows Simmental for milk and meat production.
